7th Grade ELAR with Ms. Elliott!

Welcome to 7th Grade ELA!

Hello! My name is Anna Elliott, and I teach 7th grade English Language Arts at Smithson Valley Middle School. I graduated from Texas State University with both my Bachelors and Masters Degrees in English Literature, and I have a strong passion for helping students grow as readers, writers, and, most importantly, humans!

Outside the classroom, you can find me curled up with a book or a fun video game. I also love to travel, do puzzles, and collect trinkets.

Please make sure your student comes to class with the following supplies:

• One college ruled composition notebook 

• A pocket folder with prongs

Class Communication & Assignments:

• All weekly assignments and class materials will be posted on Google Classroom.

• I will use Parent Square to communicate with families. This includes class updates and direct messages.
