8th Grade Mathematics

Welcome to SVMS 8th Grade Math 2025! I am looking forward to working with students as they learn valuable problem solving skills in our 8th grade math class. Students are expected to give their best effort at all times and ask questions as needed. 

 

Supplies needed for 8th grade math include a composition or spiral notebook to keep notes, and writing utensils. Graphing calculators are used in this class. A class set will be available during class and desmos.com can be used at home.

 

Students should utilize the notes slides and videos posted in Google Classroom each week. The slides include weekly notes, assignments, links to extra practice, videos and other valuable information.

 

Please make sure your student is following the grading guidelines posted by Comal ISD.
