American Legion Award Honors Students for Character, Citizenship Correction: The American Legion honorees for Memorial Early College High School were reported incorrectly. Victor Hernandez and Josephine Tesauro received the top awards.For almost a century, the American Legion has been honoring students who exemplify the six qualities that define character with its School Award Medal Program. Several Comal ISD campuses participate in this tradition by nominating students for this award.
