Comal ISD Director Named CTE Administrator of the Year for Texas With 7,200 students enrolled in 35 programs of study, Comal ISD's Career and Technical Education (CTE) is growing annually, and its director was just named the best CTE administrator in the state of Texas.

Students gain hands-on experience inside the Cougars auto shop and earn industry-based certifications that build the foundation for careers in the automotive industry.
State CTE Qualifiers Recognized by Board of Trustees Students who are involved in CTE organizations have many opportunities to sharpen their leadership and technical skills through competitions. So far this year, 13 Comal ISD students have qualified for state competitions in just a few CTE organizations including FFA, FCCLA and HOSA.
Fine Arts All-State Honorees Recognized at Board of Trustees Meeting Only the best high school musicians, singers and dancers become All-State honorees, and Comal ISD had a dozen this year. The state-wide competitions include intense auditions and entail hours of practice.

Comal ISD Board of Trustees Calls May Bond Election The Comal ISD Board of Trustees approved a bond package that will accommodate continued enrollment growth as well as address items such as campus safety and security, student technology, and expansions and improvements at existing campuses during a meeting on Feb. 15.
